Spotlight on Mango
Mango has long been considered ‘The King of Fruits”. With their unique flavour, taste and fragrance they are one of the most popular fruits in the world. Nutritionally rich and with many health promoting qualities they are a tropical super fruit.
They are rich in vitamins A, B6, C and E, flavanoids (such as B-carotene), potassium, copper and phytonutrients. Mangoes also have antioxidant properties essential for healthy vision. They have also been found to protect against colon, breast, leukemia and prostate cancers. Mangoes can also help control heart rate and blood pressure.

Spotlight on Sweetcorn
Sweetcorn is a traditional summer food that is technically a grain and not a vegetable. It is cholesterol free and high in natural sugars. Sweetcorn has been found help keep eyes healthy and possibly protects against cataracts and age-related macular degeneration. Being a grain it is also gluten free and can be safely used by those with celiac disease.
